MintDocs is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only what is necessary to provide our service and never sell your data to third parties.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use MintDocs:

Email address — used for account creation and OTP verification
Document content — text you submit for AI processing (not stored permanently)
Usage data — which tools you use and when, to manage your plan limits
Device fingerprint and IP address — used to prevent abuse of the free tier
Payment information — processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

To verify your identity via OTP email authentication
To process your documents using AI and return results to you
To manage your subscription plan and usage limits
To prevent abuse and ensure fair use across all users
To send account-related emails (OTP codes, payment confirmations)

3. Document Privacy

Your documents are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. Document content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with essential service providers:

Anthropic — AI processing of your documents
Razorpay — secure payment processing
Resend — transactional email delivery

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

Your email address and usage history are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@mintdocs.in.

6. Cookies

MintDocs uses minimal cookies and browser storage only for session management — to keep you logged in between visits. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), OTP-based authentication, and secure session tokens. Passwords are not used or stored.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Withdraw consent at any time
